The Wilcox G24 Lite NVG Helmet Mount combines elements from the acclaimed G24 and the lightweight G69 mounts. Designed with the travel carriage of the G69—free of magnets—the G24 Lite achieves a 12% reduction in weight while ensuring durability for demanding conditions. Weighing in at 5.19 ounces, it is lighter than the 5.86-5.91 ounces of the standard model. The non-Lite version’s magnets, which interacted with the now-discontinued Wilcox auto off J Arm for PVS-14 stowing, are unnecessary for most other devices and only add weight.

Featuring a dovetail shoe interface, the G24 Lite boasts broad compatibility with various mounting systems. Its development incorporated significant operational feedback, and since its deployment, millions of hours have helped establish operator familiarity. With its innovative “break away” feature, the mount prioritizes safety by detaching from the base under stress, minimizing the risk of neck injuries.
